The chicks are here, the chicks are here! On Friday morning Tim picked up our new 8 spring chicks. They are cute, fluffy, sweet and chirpy. Tim made a temporary home for them in Liam's old dog crate with some woods shavings and water and food feeder. It's great, the lamp keeps them at a constant 95 degrees, warm and happy.Tm and his brother Justin are still finalizing the the coop plans which is perfect because the chicks will have to live in the house for 5 weeks. Here are a couple of pictures of them. The one that I am holding is named, Sidney...she is a fiesty little one, she pecked at Tim the first time he went to pick her up.
